Return of the River

An Award Winning Film

This is a follow up to our wonderful film presentation of Damnation, which is now available in our club library. Please check it out if your were unable to attend!

Return of the River follows a group of strong-minded committed people as they attempt the impossible: to change the public opinion of a town and eventually the nation to bring a dam down. The community comes to a consensus, setting the Elwha River free and showing the way to a more sustainable future. Amid grim environmental news, Return of the River is a film infused with hope!  

We've also invited John Cain from the American Rivers organization to brief us on how that group is working to remove obsolete dams in California and the west.
