Speaker Todd Pond, GPFF member will give a presentation about the East Walker River. The East Walker river is a precious river in the Eastern Sierras and is considered one of California’s Blue Ribbon Rivers. People from all over the world fish it any given year. This is an incredible and challenging fishery where fly fishers often leave a piece of their hearts. The presentation will cover the general area, history, camping, regulations, and fishing in California and Nevada. Basically, all the information needed to make anyone comfortable making a trip there. Also, a week in a half after the presentation, Todd will be hosting a weekend trip to the East Walker. Both days will start out with a river tour, flowing a day of fishing. Saturday, we will tour the California side and Sunday we tour the Nevada side.
