GPFF Foundational 'On-Line' Fly Tying Seminar

Grizzly Peak Fly Fishers is dedicated to the ongoing education in the art, science, and sport of fly fishing.  During the pandemic of early 2020, GPFF stepped up to find a way to continue offering new educational services to its membership while avoiding exposures to others during the shelter in place order. The introduction of this pilot Fly Tying Program utilizing the internet (24/7) may well evolve into the new-normal for educational programs when the 2020 pandemic is behind us.

We are fortunate to have Leo Siren, owner of Fish First in Albany and longtime club member, to provide the 'material-kits’ for the seminar at deep discount prices for the benefit of our members. The Fly Tying course is a full, comprehensive 6-week program that will give you the confidence and preparedness to move forward in the art & science of tying flies.

Order only what you need 24/7:

1. The Course Book, consists of a spiral bound 60+ page, full-color course book, with plenty of lined pages for taking notes that cover the 13 foundational flies taught.  The course includes URL Video addresses for everything you need to know to learn how to tie flies 'progressively'.  Course is based on a 6-week progression.  You will be assigned an experienced mentor/coach that is available to you for any questions or concerns throughout your training. Study at your own pace, 24/7 at your home or office, when you want, with coaching support.
