Conservation, Education, Comradery
Save Saturday morning, Nov. 18th to help restore San Pablo Creek!
SPAWNERS, the San Pablo Watershed Neighbors Education & Restoration Society, needs help planting bushels of native bushes adjacent to San Pablo Creek before the rainy season.
This is a great opportunity for Grizzly Peak anglers and their families to provide on-the-ground support of a local stream.
We'll meet at 9:30 AM - 12:00, rain or shine, in the parking lot of the old El Sobrante Library, 4191 Appian Way in El Sobrante. HELEN FITANIDES, SPAWNERS Program Coordinator, will hand out tools and gloves, then show us the ropes. Sturdy shoes and work clothes are recommended.
Grizzly Peak Fly Fishers will provide water and a light lunch. Car pooling is highly encouraged. For more information, please call Will Moore, Conservation Chair, at 510-502-1014. Register soon!
