SHORELINE CLEANUP – VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
When: Sunday, June 13, 2021 10am – noon
Where: Martin Luther King Jr. Shoreline, Oakland. Meet at Garretson Point Staging Area (off the north end of Edgewater Drive)
What: Work Party - Help make a difference in our wetlands and Bay! Fish and wildlife deserve a healthier habitat!
This is a great opportunity for GPFF members and their families to contribute to the well-being of our environment. Kids are welcome! Children benefit by learning the satisfaction of volunteering their efforts.
I will provide snacks, litter sticks and hand sanitizer.
Please bring your own water and gloves; wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. (You may want to bring a plastic 5-gallon bucket with handle. They are great for picking up trash and then filling trash bags.)
